We will meet, like each other, have sex, be over the moon, say things that will make us feel embarrassed later on; but, in the end, everything will get wrong and break our hearts.
The main characters of this novel are aware that happiness is a valuable thing; however, they still go on looking for it through desire, treachery, dependence, love and hate. Men and women, lovers and friends joined by their loneliness come together in a bitter-sweet patchwork in which the people you love are an allegorical image of paradise. The same happens with hell.
